If your website is hosted on Jimdo, you can easily install and setup Kameleoon. Just follow this integration guide.
Installation Instructions
Setting up Kameleoon on Jimdo follows the general method. This tutorial just adds precisions on how to accomplish some
operations with the specific Jimdo edition interface. Start by creating your Kameleoon account and registering your site.
Adding the Kameleoon script (step 2 of the "Get Started" page)
Inserting the Kameleoon script in Jimdo.
To modify your HTML page, log on to your Jimdo page and select on the action menu: Settings -> Website -> Edit Head Section.
Then copy and paste the usual HTML code in the dialog:
As always, replace of course sampleCode by your real code. The exact code you should paste will be given to you in Kameleoon site's member area.
Adding the Kameleoon banner
Adding the Kameleoon banner in Jimdo.
(You may skip this step if you are using a commercial account; it is only needed for free Kameleoon users).
To add the Kameleoon banner to your page, add a standard Jimdo element to your page and select Widget / HTML. Then copy and paste the following code:
<a href="http://www.kameleoon.com/" alt="With Kameleoon, create a professional web design for your site, directly from your browser. Free, easy integration,
no CSS knowledge needed." > <img src="http://images.kameleoon.com/banners/kameleoon-default.png" alt="Customize and skin any webpage quickly with Kameleoon, a tool to author beautiful web designs
and templates." border="0" />
</a>
You can move the banner wherever you wish on your main page.
Start designing your pages!
Go to your Jimdo site in view mode (so get out of the Jimdo edition mode) and press [Shift + F2]. Kameleoon will then load, and you
will be able to customize your pages in an advanced way, without learning CSS or HTML. Kameleoon's design editor is much more powerful than Jimdo's one - enjoy creating visually stunning pages,
and be sure to send us a link to your creations. If we like them, we will feature your site in our Gallery section.
