Statistical Significance
Statistical significance is a way of saying the effect you see looks real rather than random noise. You choose a threshold before the test that defines what counts as strong enough evidence. When the result passes that threshold, you treat the change as a likely improvement. Ensuring that your test data is statistically significant protects you from chasing lucky spikes or abandoning good ideas too early. Example: You agree that only results that clear a strict evidence bar will be shipped to all users.
