Promptathon Official Terms & Conditions

1. Sponsor and Organizer

The Promptathon (the “Contest”) is organized and sponsored by Kameleoon Inc., located at 1251 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10020, United States (“Kameleoon,” “Organizer,” or “Sponsor”), on behalf of Kameleoon SAS, a French joint stock company, located at 5 rue des Allumettes, Les Bureaux de l’Arche, 13090 Aix-en-Provence, France.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open worldwide to individuals who are:

  • Eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; and

  • Holders of a valid Kameleoon account (free accounts are eligible).

Employees, contractors, affiliates, or representatives of Kameleoon, its subsidiaries, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) are not eligible to participate.

By participating, entrants warrant that their participation is permitted under their local laws and regulations.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on November 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends on January 17, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).
Winners will be announced between the last week of January and the first week of February 2026.

4. How to Enter

To participate, entrants must:

  1. Create and log in to their Kameleoon account;

  2. Submit their Prompt-Based-Experiment (PBX) via the official Kameleoon Promptathon submission form available on the Kameleoon portal during the Contest Period.

Only submissions received through the official form will be considered. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win.

5. Content Requirements and Restrictions

All submissions must:

  • Be the original work of the entrant

  • Be created using Kameleoon’s PBX tool on desktop with Google Chrome, as PBX is compatible only with that configuration;

  • Avoid doing anything that could be harmful to the brand image of any website, company, or organization being altered or revised using PBX;

  • Avoid containing any offensive, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, discriminatory, or illegal material;

Kameleoon reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these requirements or that otherwise violates these Terms.

6. Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

All eligible entries will be reviewed by a jury designated by Kameleoon. The jury will evaluate entries according to the following weighted criteria:

Kameleoon reserves the right to apply internal or proprietary normalization methods to engagement data to ensure fairness among participants of varying audience sizes.

All decisions by Kameleoon are final, binding, and not subject to appeal.

7. Prize Structure

The total monetary prize pool depends on the number of eligible participants at the end of the Contest.

The Contest will only be held if a minimum of 49 eligible participants have registered by the specified deadline.



The prize pool will be distributed as follows:

Kameleoon maintains the right to organize bespoke Special Mentions and Honorary Awards as it deems necessary during the contest.

All prizes are awarded in U.S. Dollars (USD) via bank transfer to the winners’ designated accounts.

Prizes are paid as gross amounts (pre-tax). Winners are solely responsible for the payment of any and all taxes, bank transfer fees, or other charges applicable in their country of residence.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged for other forms of compensation.

8. Rights Granted by Entrants

By submitting an entry, each entrant grants Kameleoon Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, edit, remix, publish, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit the submitted content, in whole or in part, for marketing, promotional, educational, and social media purposes related to PBX, Promptathon, or Kameleoon’s services.

Entrants acknowledge and agree that:

  • Kameleoon may use the entrant’s name, likeness, and any social media handles in connection with the promotion of the Contest and its results;

  • Kameleoon may create derivative works or compilations from submitted videos for promotional purposes; and

  • No further compensation or approval will be required for such uses beyond any awarded prize(s).

9. Technical and Operational Conditions

Kameleoon shall not be held responsible for:

  • Lost, late, misdirected, or corrupted submissions;

  • Technical malfunctions, network failures, or service interruptions;

  • Unauthorized access, data loss, or alteration of entries.

Participation requires a stable desktop internet connection and the use of Google Chrome.
Entries submitted using unsupported browsers or devices may be deemed ineligible.

10. Conduct and Fair Play

Entrants must act in good faith and comply with all applicable laws.
The use of bots, fake accounts, automated engagement tools, or any method intended to manipulate results or deceive the jury is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.

Kameleoon reserves the right to disqualify, without notice, any entrant found to have violated these Terms or engaged in fraudulent or unethical behavior.

11. Limitation of Liability

By entering the Contest, participants agree that:

  • Kameleoon, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of participation or inability to participate in the Contest;

In no event shall Kameleoon’s total liability exceed the value of the prize awarded to the applicable participant.

12. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to any conflict of law principles. Any disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or relating to the Contest or these Terms shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Commercial Court of Paris, France. Participants expressly waive any right to participate in a class action or collective proceeding.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected from participants will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Contest and awarding prizes, in accordance with Kameleoon’s Privacy Policy, available on its official website.

14. Amendments and Modifications

Kameleoon reserves the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to amend, modify, suspend, or terminate these Terms and Conditions, the Contest, or any part thereof, in whole or in part, without prior notice and for any reason. Any such changes shall become effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the official Kameleoon website or Contest page. Continued participation in the Contest after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
