Simon is the Founder and Principal Consultant at DrSimonJ, a Data Science Strategy consultancy. Simon previously worked in senior data science and experimentation roles at Meta, Booking.com, and Canva. Simon gained his PhD from the University of Sydney in Psychology, where he focused on decision-making; his thesis on this topic was called outstanding by the Australian Conference on Personality and Individual Differences. He also wrote a frequently cited article on How Booking.com increases the power of online experiments with CUPED. He is the co-founder of InnerJoin, an online community for data professionals.
