Combine insights from Kameleoon and Contentsquare to optimize customer experiences

Sense Analyst picks out behavior patterns and friction signals on a webpage, which gives you evidence to form a hypothesis. From there, you propose a change in plain language and PBX (Prompt-Based Experimentation) builds a variation in Kameleoon for you to test.

1. Find the opportunity. Open a Zoning Analysis in Contentsquare and use Sense Analyst (or the interaction data) to choose a zone to improve.
2. Describe the change. Select “Design A/B Test” (available with Kameleoon’s PBX add-on and Chrome extension), give the test a name, and write your hypothesis including visual changes you want to see.
3. Let PBX build it. Select “Create A/B test.” Kameleoon takes your description, opens PBX with a prompt based on your wording, and then builds your variation.
4. Review and launch. Check the variation, refine it as needed, set your goals, configure traffic, and then launch it as you would any other PBX experiment.
5. Analyze in Contentsquare. Read the results of your test back in Zoning, dashboards, and Session Replays.

In one example, a retailer using Contentsquare and Kameleoon saw shoppers hesitate around the size selector on mobile product pages. From that Zoning view, the team had PBX move the size guide to be beside the selector and add a soft highlight with reassurance copy. Within minutes, PBX had built the variation. The 50/50 test showed a clear increase in add-to-carts and purchases before the team rolled out the change.

Analyze results in Contentsquare

Kameleoon’s results page tells you which variation won; from there, you can dig deeper in Contentsquare to better understand why and what it means for your business goals. Once you’ve switched on Contentsquare for a client-side A/B test or personalization campaign, Kameleoon sends the experiment data across automatically.

Compare clicks by variation. Choose a Kameleoon experiment and variation in Zoning and Contentsquare pulls in the right screenshot and segment. You can open a Zoning for each variation to compare them side-by-side.

Watch sessions from each variation. Session Replays filter automatically to the variation you’re analyzing, so you can watch how visitors handled each change.

Track tests on a dashboard. Start from Contentsquare’s A/B Test dashboard template, where you can set alerts for notable changes.

Connect both tools without code changes

Any admin can connect the integration for each project on both sides to make it accessible for everyone (with the right permissions). 

‍In Kameleoon, go to Admin > Integrations, install Contentsquare, and select your project(s). Then, in Contentsquare, add Kameleoon in the Integration Catalog, sign in with your Kameleoon account, and choose which sites you want to connect.
