Kameleoon is built, supported, and maintained by a diverse and passionate team of developers, technical account managers, and client support specialists. Erika Hashizume is a technical account manager, but her skillset allows her to take on a little of all three roles, supporting her clients from both sides of the platform.

A user first: her background in engineering

Erika wanted to join Kameleoon originally because she used to use it herself! 

Early in her career, she worked as an engineer for a Japanese airline, where she solved complex technical issues that helped keep planes in the air! Eventually, she moved from Japan to Canada to work as a developer for a CRO agency. There, she used Kameleoon to help clients improve their digital experiences with her team.

A few years later, she moved again, this time to France. Having recently been a Kameleoon user and now living right by its home office, she was soon using the platform again, this time from the company side as a technical account manager and front-end developer.

What does a technical account manager do?

Erika’s primary role at Kameleoon is to work directly with clients as part of their onboarding, training, and technical support troubleshooting. Here, her existing experience as a developer and former user of Kameleoon is crucial. Having once been a client herself, she understands their perspective and challenges in a unique way.

Fortunately, Erika is well-prepared for the role. Her background working for an airline means she is naturally detail-oriented and comfortable with problems that require complex solutions. Her global experience has taught her that different backgrounds collaborate well, and she loves getting to work with diverse clients and teammates across Kameleoon’s global audience.

Plus, as someone heavily into fitness training, she is no stranger to working tirelessly to meet a goal, even when the path forward is difficult!

Erika’s future trajectory in the AI world

Erika says she chose her role with Kameleoon as a natural progression of her career: she is growing her communication skills within the tech space, leveraging previous experiences, and constantly learning as she takes on new challenges. 

That’s her goal too: to grow alongside Kameleoon. As the platform evolves with new AI features, she has a unique opportunity to stay at the forefront of that technology. As Prompt-based Experimentation expands what is possible in experimentation, Erika is working to ensure everyone using it is fully equipped to succeed.
