PBX improvements: multitasking and waiting time for a smoother, more efficient workflow

Since the full release of Prompt-Based Experimentation (PBX), we’ve seen thousands of experiments created simply by chatting with AI. In fact, among our customers who have PBX, 30% of experiments are being created with PBX. This represents an impressive shift towards faster, more efficient experimentation.
In fact, we’ve seen that the average time it takes for PBX to generate a variation is only three minutes and twenty seconds.
It’s an impressive time to build an entire variation, but we wanted to make sure you’re able to keep working effectively during those three minutes.
How multitasking improves PBX for testers
To address this, and to make PBX smoother to use, we’ve made PBX multi-threaded, allowing you to switch between variations as PBX generates code.
Start a new variation and get notified when your original variation is ready for review, or you can even leave PBX altogether and navigate to another page in Kameleoon.
This also means that connection interruptions will no longer lead to errors generating your variation.

Waiting time for easier planning
To make it easier to multitask, we’ve updated the “waiting time” notification to give you a clearer idea of which steps PBX is working on and how long it’s going to take. The new interface uses a redesigned preview area while PBX is running to show:
- The current processing step
- An estimated remaining time, updated based on the current step
- A notification when your change is complete, even if you are on another tab or variation

These improvements will make PBX an even more efficient way to run experimentation. If you’re a PBX user, you already have access to multitasking and sharing. Give it a try today!
