[Product Release] Introducing Kameleoon’s integration with Usercentrics’ Consent Management Platform

Today, customers want personalized experiences but at the same time consumers and regulators have become increasingly concerned about how personal data is collected, stored and used by brands.

This has led to legislation such as the GDPR and CCPA, as well as updates from technology vendors, such as Apple and Google, designed to improve privacy for their users. For example, Apple’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP) 2.3 update within the Safari browser blocks all third-party storage (cookies or Local Storage) from websites after seven days.

All of this means that consent management is vital to your A/B testing and personalization programs. In a previous blog I talked about Kameleoon’s flexible consent management capabilities and to further enhance this we have now integrated with Usercentrics’ Consent Management Platform.

Kameleoon provides a one-click integration with Usercentrics. This means that Kameleoon automatically connects to Usercentrics, accesses the consent policy within the platform and then uses this when displaying experiments and personalizations on your website.

In Usercentrics, clients simply select the Kameleoon modules they use and our platform will automatically receive consent provided by Usercentrics with no additional setup required.

How does Kameleoon integrate with Usercentrics

GDPR specifies a legal basis for data collection, making marketing only possible with explicit user consent. A Consent Management Platform helps you put this regulatory requirement into practice. However, some marketers fear that their digital marketing and user experience might be negatively impacted by these regulations.
